Yarraman Park’s young gun sire Hellbent has his first stakes performer with the Annabel Neasham trained filly Bohemian Daisy running a bold race to finish third in the Group III VRC Ottawa Stakes (1000m) at Flemington on Oaks Day.
A good third in a recent barrier trial in Sydney, Bohemian Daisy jumped from barrier three in the big 15 horse field and travelled well for Fred Kersley moving up to challenge over the final furlong.
She tried hard all the way to the line to finish third beaten a length and a half by See You in Heaven and Satin Love.

A Group I winning son of I Am Invincible, Hellbent has been very popular with breeders and stands this spring at a fee of $22,000.
