Deserved Stakes Success for Muntaseera

Tara Madgwick - Saturday April 17

I Am Invincible filly Muntaseera has been threatening to win a stakes race since finishing second in the Group III VRC Ottawa Stakes as a spring two year-old and finally got the job done in Adelaide on Saturday when taking out the Listed SAJC Redelva Stakes (1100m).

Trained by Ciaron Maher and David Eustace, Muntaseera was having her third run back from a spell and charged home with a late rush before holding off all challengers to win by a long neck.

Moosirra produced a full sister to Muntaseera last spring and is now in foal to American Pharoah (USA).

The current yearling from Moosirra is a Pride of Dubai filly that was sold at Magic Millions this year by Segenhoe for $200,000.

I Am Invincible

Muntaseera is the 64th stakes-winner for I Am Invincible and is his 12th Australian stakes-winner this season.
