Previously trained in Brisbane by Tony Gollan, Miss Exfactor joined the Joe Pride stable in Sydney last year and although running some nice races had not won for her new trainer until Saturday.

With a good barrier and light weight, Miss Exfactor enjoyed a good run in transit for Jay ford and swept clear of her rivals down the running to win by two and a quarter lengths.

Your song is the sire of Miss ExfactorA $70,000 Magic Millions Book 2 purchase for McLachlan Racing from the Widden Stud draft, Miss Exfactor has the overall record of five wins and seven placings from 18 starts with prizemoney topping $322,000.

Miss Exfactor is the best of three winners from Search for Fame, a three-quarter sister by Quest for Fame (GB) to Group II winner Impaler from the Wycombe branch of the Cotehele House (GB) family that has produced other Group winners such as Fiscal Fantasy and Quilate.

Miss Exfactor is the fourth stakes-winner for Fastnet Rock’s Group I winning son Your Song, whose fortunes may well be on an upswing given his biggest ever foal crop are yearlings being sold this year, so expect to see him with a strong selection of two year-olds for the 2020/2021 racing season.
