Widden Stud’s Your Song made his mark on Slipper Day when his five year-old daughter Miss Exfactor surprised punters with a commanding win in the Group III ATC Birthday card Quality (1200m).
Previously trained in Brisbane by Tony Gollan, Miss Exfactor joined the Joe Pride stable in Sydney last year and although running some nice races had not won for her new trainer until Saturday.
With a good barrier and light weight, Miss Exfactor enjoyed a good run in transit for Jay ford and swept clear of her rivals down the running to win by two and a quarter lengths.
