Sixth Stakes-Winner for No Nay Never

Tara Madgwick - Monday October 15
Young Coolmore shuttler No Nay Never (USA) added a sixth stakes-winner to his tally overnight in Ireland with All The King's Men taking out the Listed Legacy Stakes at Navan.

No Nay NeverTrained by Aidan O'Brien and ridden by Seamie Heffernan, All The King's Men strode clear to win the five and a half furlong sprint by a length and three-quarters.

It was the second win from six starts for All The King's Men, who was bought for 400,000 euros from the Arqana Deauville Yearling Sale last year.

"All The King's Men is a previous winner and he has been working a little bit better than he has been running. I'd say the No Nay Nevers enjoy racing and you can run them often. No Nay Never is a stallion I like. I am happy with that," said Seamie Heffernan.

All The King's Men is the first stakes-winner from Group III winning Peintre Celebre mare Chaibia.

No Nay Never is the leading first crop sire in Europe and has sired 25 winners from 53 starters, with six stakes-winners and a further six stakes-place-getters on his honour roll which is headed by Group I winning colt Ten Sovereigns, interestingly from a daughter of Exceed and Excel.

Last week at the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale Book One, No Nay Never had 10 yearlings average 331,000 guineas which put him fourth on the sires by average list behind only Galileo, Dubawi and Frankel… that says a lot for the demand for his stock!

While Australian breeders will never have access going forward to Galileo, Dubawi or Frankel unless they send mares to the Northern Hemisphere, No Nay Never is here right now standing at Coolmore at a fee of $19,250.
