Aquis shuttler Holy Roman Emperor (IRE) has been in top form this year and added a 12thGroup I winner to his resume when well bred filly Well Timed, won the Group I Preis der Diana at Dusseldorf on Sunday.

Holy Roman EmperorA homebred for Stall Ullman, Well Timed was a last start winner of the Group II Hoppegarten Diana Trial and was favourite for her first try at 1m3f. Trained by Jean-Pierre Carvalho and ridden by Filip Minari, she forged clear to win by a length and three-quarters in a dominant display.

With four wins from five starts, Well Timed is the best of six winners from stakes-winner Wells Present, a half-sister to the dam of Group I Hong Kong Gold Cup winner and promising young sire Akeed Mofeed.

A versatile proven Group I sire who gets sprinters, stayers and everything in between, Holy Roman Emperor has enjoyed a great start to 2018 with Group I Irish Two Thousand Guineas winner Romanised also among his recent stakes-winners.
