An impressive winner of two 2YO trials, Tiny Terror sat outside the leader for much of the contest and though denied clear running in the home straight, maintained his composure to rally strongly for victory.
The stewards room decision confirmed the placings of hitherto unbeaten Von Trapp (Swiss Ace) and dual winning stakes performer Cyber Attack (Shamexpress) into the minor positions.
Trained at Matamata by Michael Moroney and Pam Gerard for well known racing identity Max Whitby, Tiny Terror was pitted against his fellow 3YO's to help determine his future pathway.
"We do think he is pretty good", said co-trainer Pam Gerard.
"He's a very strong horse that trialled up really well. He has now matched up to some pretty good three-year-olds so he is shaping up as a nice chance for some of the early stakes races coming up".
