Pierro
posted his 20th Australian winner of the season with a tenacious victory
at Mornington on Friday for the half-sister to classy Group II winners Star of
Giselle and Solicit.
A homebred for David Moodie trained by Matt Ellerton and Simon Zahra, All of Me
went forward from an outside gate for Linda Meech to sit outside the leader and
was strong to the line to win the 1500 metre maiden by a short half head at her
third start.
All of Me is the seventh winner from eight foals to race from stakes-winning
Danehill mare Princesa, a daughter of Group I winner Kapchat.
Princesa, who died last year, has done a great job at stud with her star
performers Solicit and Star of Giselle earning over $1.8 million between them.
All of Me is the fifth winner since the start of December for Golden Slipper
winner Pierro, the leading Australian Second Season Sire by earnings and
stakes-winners.
Pierro has 17 entries for the 2018 Magic Millions.
