Third Win for $1Million Zoustar Filly

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday November 27

Blue hen Listen Here was sold for a whopping $3.4million at the 2016 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale and has the perfect record of four winners from four foals to race $1million Inglis Easter Zoustar filly Zaniah winning her third race and first in the metropolitan area at Warwick Farm on Wednesday.

Zaniah as a yearlingTrained by Kris Lees for Kiwi owner breeder Lib Petagna, Zaniah was having her third start in Australia and kept her unbeaten record here intact when leading all the way to win the Benchmark 70 event by a length.

Her good form in Australia is in contrast to her first three starts in New Zealand last year that failed to produce a placing.

Zaniah is a three-quarter sister to Group I winner Shooting to Win and Group II winner Deep Field, being by Zoustar, who is the best son of their sire Northern Meteor.

Listen Here has a two year-old colt by Snitzel, no yearling for the 2020 sales and has foaled this spring producing a filly by I Am Invincible
