First Winner for Cable Bay

Invincible Spirit's high class son Cable Bay (IRE) has shuttled to Woodside Park Stud in Victoria for the past two seasons and had his first winner overnight in the UK with a debut Lingfield victory for Electric Ladyland.

Cable BayTrained by Archie Watson, she showed good pace and strode clear to win the five furlong scamper by two lengths on the all weather track setting a two year-old course record.

A half-sister to Simmy's Copshop, Electric Ladyland made 35,000 euros as a yearling at the Goffs Sportsmans Sale and is the third winner for Conversational, a half-sister to stakes-winner Esperanza.

A brilliant Group II winning sprinter, Cable Bay stands at Highclere Stud in the UK at fee of 6,500 pounds and in Australia stood at a fee of $13,200 last year. His oldest Australian offspring are weanlings.
