She's So High Retired

Tara Madgwick - Thursday March 7

Lightly raced I Am Invincible mare She's So High has been retired just days after winning  a Listed race at Flemington last Saturday.

Despite her impressive performance last Saturday, Price told RadioTAB on Thursday morning the mare's career is over.

"She is retired. She's always been a precious filly we've nursed and nursed, and I wasn't happy with the way she pulled up." Price said.

"She's only had 10 starts but there's no need to squeeze them too hard.

"I wasn't happy with one knee and she didn't feel right over her back end.

"I don't believe she should be pressured anymore as a racehorse.

"She is going to be a beautiful mother."

She's So High is owned by a big syndicate of Blueblood Thoroughbreds owners and has an impressive pedigree that will make her a hot commodity if she is offered at auction this year in the broodmare sales.

She's So High is from a half-sister to the dam of this season's juvenile stakes-winner Mockery and comes from the family of  Group I winners Shooting to Win and Luna Rossa as well as record breaking Group II winner Deep Field.
