Nicconi Fillies Star for Valiant Stud

Fergal Connolly's Valiant Stud have enjoyed great success as first time vendors at Magic Millions Book One and the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale with their attention now switched to Adelaide for the Magic Millions Yearling Sale next week.

Valiant will offer five lovely youngsters including two fillies by Nicconi, whose classy daughter Lankan Star only just missed when finishing second in last month's Group I MRC Blue Diamond Stakes.

The sire of five stakes-winners this season and progeny earnings topping $4million Nicconi is a favourite with trainers and syndicators making these two fillies below a must inspect for any serious buyer headed to Adelaide.

Lot 103 will be offered as agent for Sutton Farm and is the first foal of Pretty Kool Kat, a four time winning half-sister by Tale of the Cat (USA) to stakes-winner Chevauchee.




Pretty Kool Kat is a grand-daughter of Group I Irish Oaks winner Knights Baroness and comes from the family of stakes-winning Hong Kong sprinter Charles the Great, winner of the Group II Hong Kong Jockey Club Sprint.

Lot 156 is also offered on behalf of Sutton Farm and is the fourth foal of metropolitan winner Sutton Princess, who won nine races including the Wellington Boot at two and over $160,000.




Sutton Princess is a half-sister to stakes-placed Sutton Queen from the family of stakes-winner Sutton Review.
