A
$700,000 Inglis Easter purchase for Shadwell, three year-old Snitzel colt Anjom
opened his account at Vaal in South Africa on Tuesday.
Prepared by Mike de Kock, Anjom was favourite for the 1400 metre maiden and
posted a narrow win at his third start.
Bred and sold by Cressfield, Anjom is a half-brother to Group II winners Satin
Shoes and Zarzuela and is the seventh winner from Group I winner Star Satire.
Now 21, star Satire has not had a foal the past two seasons.
