12th Winner for Spirit of Boom

Set to stand at the increased fee of $55,000 at Eureka Stud this spring, Spirit of Boom sired his 12th individual winner at Murray Bridge on Wednesday with a facile debut victory for Heaven's Deal.

Spirit of BoomTrained by Richard Jolly, Heaven's Deal was a short priced favourite and never looked like being beaten as she coasted home to win the 1000 metre maiden by five lengths.

A bargain purchase at just $23,000 for her trainer from the Cornerstone Stud draft at the Magic Millions Adelaide Yearling Sale, Heaven's Deal is the first winner for Done Deal, a half-sister to stakes-winner Diamondsondinside.

The full sister to Heaven's Deal went through the Magic Millions Adelaide Yearling Sale this year fetching $125,000 to the bid of Kennewell Racing.

Spirit of Boom is the leading sire of two year-old winners in the country and his yearlings this year have sold for up to $500,000.
