Grahame Begg has been very patient with exciting Hellbent filly Magic Time, who kept her unbeaten record intact at Randwick when taking out the $200,000 Group III ATC PJ Bell Stakes (1200m) bringing an update for her Inglis Easter bound half-brother by Dundeel.
First up from a spell after being last seen winning a Listed race at Flemington during the Cup Carnival, Magic Time sprouted wings for Jordan Childs to zoom home from back in the field.
She charged to the line to win by more than a length running away and has now won three from three with earnings in excess of $240,000.

"She's a very nice horse, I've always thought that of her. It was a bit messy at stages during that race, I just had to be a bit patient. But once we got to the outside she knew what she was here for and attacked the line strong,” he said.
"I think she'll get over further. She's a very relaxed horse and you can sort of put her wherever you want and she'll come back and do anything to please you. So I reckon she'll get over 14(00m), maybe even a mile. But she's just very brilliant in everything that she does."
Magic Time carries the colours of her breeder, John Muir's Milburn Creek Thoroughbred Stud, after failing to make her $150,000 reserve at the 2021 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.
She was sent to be trained by Grahame Begg, who has had past success for John and Trish Muir with multiple Group I winning mare Secret Admirer.
“I don't know what her ceiling is. I told John Muir, her owner, her breeder, I said 'I don't really know how good she is.' We had a bit of a set back early in the preparation, we had to pull back a bit, but it was a bloody good effort, I tell you what.
"She's better when she gets to 1400m too, don't worry. I really like her. She's very special."
Magic Time is the first foal of Group III winning Nicconi mare Time Awaits and her third foal is a Dundeel yearling colt that will be offered by Milburn Creek as Lot 416 at Inglis Easter.
Magic Time is an exciting prospect for her young sire Hellbent, who has two colts to be offered at Inglis Easter, one by Milburn Creek and one by Yarraman Park, see them here.
