Zoustar Headed Back to UK

Tara Madgwick - Friday November 11

Off the back of siring this year’s Champion European 2YO Filly Lezoo, Zoustar will again be headed back to the Northern Hemisphere for another shuttle season with Tweenhills Stud, who have announced his fee at £30,000.

“We're extremely excited to welcome Zoustar back to Tweenhills for his fifth northern hemisphere covering season, said David Redvers.

"He has got off to a fantastic start with his first European runners, which were topped by Lezoo’s dominant victory in the Cheveley Park Stakes.

“Zoustar’s Australian stock just get better with age and racing, so we are eagerly awaiting his first European three-year-olds next year. Standing at a fraction of his Australia stud fee of A$198,000 (£112,000), he is a real coup for European breeders."

Zoustar has another outstanding crop of yearlings destined for sales in Australia in 2023 starting at Magic Millions where he has 39 entries highlighted by the full sister to his Champion Australian Filly Sunlight.

To be offered by Widden Stud as Lot 399, the filly from Solar Charged is also a full sibling to the colt that topped Inglis Easter earlier this year when selling for $3million to be the highest priced yearling sold in Australasia in 2022.
