Fees have been announced for Coolmore in Ireland with a large roster topped by No Nay Never and Wootton Bassett, who is currently in Australia.
No Nay Never will top the list at €175,000 up from €125,000 and has had a stellar year with his champion 2YO Colt son Blackbeard set to join him at stud at a fee of €25,000.
No Nay Never has sired 10 stakes-winners this year, five of them Group I winners including Australian trained filly Madame Pommery, winner of the Group I MRC Thousand Guineas. Six of those stakes-winners are two year-olds ad hold the promise of much more to come from this speed son of Scat Daddy.
Wootton Bassett remains at €150,000 as he was last year and has a Group I winning 2YO to his credit this year in Al Riffa. His oldest Australian progeny are foals.
Saxon Warrior and Churchill, who are also both in Australia have had fee rises.
Fresh from siring his first Group I winner at the Breeders’ Cup meeting in Victoria Road, Saxon Warrior rises from €20,000 to €35,000, while Churchill, who is the sire of Champion European 3YO Colt Vadeni rises to €30,000 from €25,000.
It was also announced that Galileo’s champion on Highland Reel, currently in Victoria at Swettenham Stud will not be returning to Ireland and has been sold to Japan.
Highland Reel has covered over 500 mares in his time in Australia and recently sired his first stakes-winner with High Approach winning a Listed race at Flemington.
