On the board in all five starts, the three-year-old Rich Enuff filly Belle Et Riche took another step forward when overcoming the pattern of the day at Sandown-Lakeside on Sunday.
Ridden by Jordan Childs for Mitch Freedman, Belle Et Riche was eased to the tail of the field from an outside barrier in a well-contested benchmark 64 for three year-olds over 1400m.
Still near last 25om out, Belle Et Riche did not flinch in a long-sustained drive to overpower Heavenly Eagle (Echoes Of Heaven) by three-quarters of a length with Sunfall (Zoustar) a half head back in third.
Coming off a dominant performance at Bendigo, Belle Et Riche advances her record to two wins, two seconds and a third from five starts with earnings of $100,200.
