Yulong's Frankel Filly My Whisper Continues on Her Winning Way

After finishing a troubled seventh on debut at Geelong last September, Yulong Stud’s 3yo Frankel Filly My Whisper has reeled off four wins, culminating in a first stakes success in Saturday’s Group III Auraria Stakes (1800m) at Morphettville.

With Will Price in the saddle, the Peter and Paul Snowden-trained filly came from well back to overpower the well-performed Bon's A Pearla (Bon Hoffa) by three-quarter of a length with the favourite Mac 'n' Cheese (Sebring) a further one and a quarter lengths back in third.

Passed in short of her $300,000 at round two of the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale, My Whisper advances her record to four wins from five starts with earnings of $157,620.

The daughter of Frankel is the first foal of the Poet’s Voice mare Hersigh (GB).

A Godolphin homebred, Hersigh won races on the all-weather at Chelmsford and Lingfield in an eight start career.

A half-sister to Listed stakes-winner Ennaadd (King’s Best), Hersigh is out of the stakes-winning Singspiel mare  Zayn Zed whose dam Roshani is a three-quarter sister to the champion Oh So Sharp.

My Whisper failed to make her $3000,000 reserve as a yearling

Consigned to the 2017 Tattersalls August Sale, Hersigh (GB) was purchased by BBA Ireland for.£52,000.

  Hersigh (GB) has a 2yo filly by Snitzel and a yearling filly by Grunt.

After missing to Grunt in 2020, Hersigh (GB) visited Lucky Vega (IRE) last spring.

My Whisper is the 88th stakes-winner for Juddmonte Farms undefeated champion Frankel.
