Bred by Sir Owen Glenn’s Go Bloodstock, the star filly was foaled and raised at Newgate and is a half-sister to this season’s top class juvenile Rise of the Masses (Russian Revolution), winner of the Group III ATC Pago Pago Stakes.

$1.7 million I Am Invincible filly from Ruud Awakening

The third foal of Champion NZ 2YO and Karaka Million winner Ruud Awakening, the filly was snapped up by James Harron Bloodstock and is the fifth seven figure yearling of the sale so far for I Am Invincible.

Rudd Awakening has a bit to come in the pipeline with a weanling filly by Russian Revolution’s sire Snitzel and she was covered last spring by Extreme Choice.

The result was a good one for her breeder Sir Owen Glenn, who has also been active as a buyer at this sale securing the Redoute’s Choice colt from Purely Spectacular (NZ) for $1.4million in partnership with Gai Waterhouse/ Adrian Bott and Kestrel Bloodstock.

The colt is a sibling to dual Group I winner Stratum Star and Group III winner Prague, with Sir Owen Glenn hopeful the colt will be a stallion of the future to service his burgeoning broodmare band.
