Hugh Bowman closed out the Sydney Jockeys Premiership in style with two winners at Rosehill on Saturday.
Once again, Racenet was on hand to get the feedback from every rider after every race.
This is what the jockeys thought of their rides during the day.

Nice win, nice horse. Didn't surprise me. He's taken a pretty progressive step to win here today and I feel he's got a lot of progression left. He feels to me like a horse that's going to excel over 2000(m), possibly further – he's not a sit and sprint type. |

Tough win. Lucky they didn't have speakers on the home corner because you wouldn't have liked to know what I was saying. He should have just absolutely bolted in. |

Strong win. It was a good effort by the team and the horse to come back in trip sharply in a short period of time. He's had a good prep. He's a horse that has just kept improving. |

He ran as well as he could up in grade. They were just a bit good for him. |

Good win, nice filly. She's done everything right this preparation. She had two nice lead up runs and this race was mapped out for her at the start of the prep. It's good that it has worked out, not only for me but for Brad Widdup and Damion Flower. It was good to get a city win for them. |

He was good. The race was a bit muddling. They were a bit slow mid-raced and then took off. He tracked up nice and I liked the way he accelerated. He had no weight but when I pushed the button he really accelerated. It was impressive. |

Ran super. I thought I'd be fifth or sixth but he jumped and travelled strong and there wasn't a lot happening so I just rolled with him with the light weight. |

LIFE O'BRIEN |

He ran well. He's such a casual bugger I reckon he'd be better off with a bunny. I know he has led and won but he switched off the entire way and the race was over and he went again. |
