Yarraman Park’s exciting young sire Hellbent delivered his second winner at Pakenham on Thursday evening when Hell Hath No Fury broke the ice as a short priced favourite.
Trained by Danny O’Brien, Hell Hath No Fury was a close fourth on debut to Stupendo at Flemington December 11 and tuned up for her return with a recent trial win.
She scored a half length win under Jamie Kah and can no doubt progress to better things.
“I think she did a really good job, I like the way she has matured from her last prep,” said Jamie Kah.
“She was an angel out there today, very professional.”
A $160,000 Magic Millions purchase from the Yarraman Park draft for Brae Sokolski, Hell Hath No Fury was bred by Yarraman and is a half-sister to Group III winner Montauk and stakes-placed Bright Diamond being the tenth winner from ten to race from terrific producer Diamond Cove.
A stakes-winning daughter of Octagonal, Diamond Cove has a yearling colt by Hellbent and was covered last spring by Graff.
Hell Hath No Fury is the second winner for Hellbent, who has 30 entries for Inglis Classic.
