City of Troy Wins Epsom Derby
Hailed as possibly the greatest colt of all time to emerge from Ballydoyle under the care of Aidan O’Brien following his undefeated juvenile season, City of Troy had his reputation tarnished with an unplaced return in the Group I Newmarket 2000 Guineas, but the Justify colt was back in business at Epsom.
$1.4million for Rubisaki
There were only four mares offered in foal to champion sire Snitzel at the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale and the most expensive of them was brilliant $1.2million earning Group II winner Rubisaki, who was secured by B2B Thoroughbreds on Thursday for $1.4million.
The Autumn Sun Filly and D’Argento 10 – Bowness MM
Bowness Stud have been well pleased with the promising start for their well credentialed young sire D’Argento and if you too are a fan of the charismatic grey, you’ll be making a bee line for the Bowness draft at the MM National Yearling Sale next week with 10 of their 18 strong draft by the Group I winning son of So You Think.
$1.2million for Mare in Foal to Wootton Bassett
The Element Hill Dispersal has already had a big payday from Wootton Bassett (GB) when they sold the yearling half-sister by him to Golden Sixty for $1million on Tuesday at the Magic Millions National Sale and they had another big result when selling well related broodmare Single Blonde in foal to him for $1.2million on Thursday.

Triple Group winner Rubisaki was the star when selling for $1.4 million and topping the third and final day of a successful Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale on the Gold Coast.
New US Stakes-winner for Churchill
Due back in Australia this spring for Coolmore, Churchill added a new stakes-winner to his tally in North America on Friday when Frankie Dettori partnered Poolside with Slim (3f Churchill x Kissepal, by Epaulette) to victory in the Listed $150,000 Penn Oaks (1m) on the grass at Penn National.
