7YO Sprinter a New Stakes-Winner for I Am Invincible

Tara Madgwick - Saturday December 11

Champion sire I Am Invincible might be renowned for his two year-olds, but it was seven year-old gelding Totally Charmed who became his latest stakes-winner when taking out the Listed BRC Bribie Handicap (1000m) at Eagle Farm on Saturday.

A back marking sprinter, Totally Charmed hit the line hard to post his first Black type success with a three-quarter length win taking his overall record to eight wins and nine placings from just 22 starts with prizemoney just shy of $330,000.

He brought up a stakes double for trainers Steven O’Dea and Matthew Hoysted, whop earlier won the Listed BRC Phelan Ready Plate with Palazzo Spirit.

A $130,000 Magic Millions purchase for Aquis Farm from the Mane Lodge draft, Totally Charmed featured in an Inglis Digital Sale earlier this year when a 5% share in him changed hands for $1,250.

Bred by Neil Osborne, Totally Charmed is the best of two winners from The Look of Love, a winning Danehill Dancer (IRE) mare from a half-sister to stakes-winner Battlefield.

The Look of Love has a yearling colt by Super One and foaled this spring producing a filly by Santo with both youngsters being three-quarter siblings to Totally Charmed as they are by sons of his sire I Am invincible.

Totally Charmed is a new SW for I Am Invincible, click for more information.

Totally Charmed is the 69th stakes-winner for I Am Invincible, who has 54 entries for  the 2022 Magic Millions Yearling Sale.
