The Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott-trained three year-old Narvaez was fit and ready to fire at his third run back from a spell at Sandown on Wednesday and got the job done in style.
Sent out favourite for the 1600m contest, Narvaez scored a length and a quarter win for Nash Rawiller carrying 60.5kg with connections likely to target stakes races in Tasmania over the summer.
