Champion trainer Chris Waller has a happy knack for keeping horses happy and sound for a long time and that talent was highlighted at Hawkesbury on Wednesday when seven year-old Sebring gelding Black on Gold took out the Listed Ladies Day Cup (1600m).
Fit and ready to fire at his first run back from a spell, Black on Gold was easy in the market, powering home along the inside to snatch a half length win.
