Made to Order travelled strongly behind the leaders for Peter Robl before hitting the line with determination to take the 1800 metre Benchmark 70 event by a neck.
"She's a lovely filly," Robl said. "I honestly think she's got an Oaks trip written all over her.
"She's got a bit of ability on her side and was always going to beat them today."
A $110,000 Inglis Easter purchase for Dynamic Syndications from the Yarraman Park draft, Made to Order was foaled and raised at Yarraman Park for her breeders Tim and Jackie Hughes and has won twice and placed twice from just five starts earning $95,150 in prizemoney.
She is a half-sister to Group I QTC TJ Smith Classic winner Apercu being the sixth winner from stakes--placed Zabeel mare Making Fey, who died tragically a couple of weeks ago after delivering a filly foal by Foxwedge.
"It's the high and lows of racing I guess," said Tim Hughes.
"Making Fey was a great mare for us having produced a Group I winner in Apercu and we'd love to see Made to Order go right on with it.
"The foal is being fostered and we're just so glad to have one last filly from her."
