Inglis Premier Yearling Sale Preview Tonight

The 2020 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale Preview will air on Monday night February 24 at 8pm on Sky Thoroughbred Central, reflecting the great work undertaken by Inglis and supporting breeders to continue to improve the quality of Inglis Premier graduates.

Santa Ana Lane is a current Inglis Premier flagbearerThe sale in recent years has followed on from the success of its most famous graduate  unbeaten champion Black Caviar, with Group 1 winners from the sale in just the past 12 months including Gytrash in last weekend’s Black Caviar Lightning Stakes, plus Santa Ana Lane (2019 TJ Smith Stakes), Nature Strip (2019 The Galaxy, 2019 Moir Stakes, 2019 VRC Classic), Beat The Clock (2020 Hong Kong Centenary Sprint Cup), Scales Of Justice (2019 Memsie Stakes), Hey Doc (2019 Winterbottom Stakes), Kenedna (2019 Queen Of The Turf Stakes, 2019 Doomben Cup).

The 2020 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale Preview highlights another stunning draft from proven producers Blue Gum Farm including the first Victorian conceived offspring by Golden Slipper producing sire Manhattan Rain.

Sun Stud presents the first yearlings by dual Group 1 winner Palentino, former Collingwood footballer and long-time breeder Michael Christian presents his first Premier yearling draft from his Longwood Thoroughbred Farm as does Daniel Brash from Collingrove. And the Springmount Thoroughbreds segment features a half-sister to star filly Mystic Journey, winner of the Australian Guineas and All Star Mile in 2019.

Stallions featured include breed-shapers and established sires such as Snitzel and Dundeel (Arrowfield Stud), I Am Invincible (Yarraman Park), So You Think and Pierro (Coolmore Stud), Nicconi and Star Witness (Widden Stud) and Astern, Street Boss and Teofilo (Darley Stud).

Plus yearling by young sires Cable Bay, Palentino, Capitalist, American Pharoah, Brazen Beau, Frosted, Fighting Sun, Toronado and Tivaci.
