Larneuk Stallions Raising Money for Charity

Media Release - Wednesday July 26

Larneuk Stud's Neville Murdoch is delighted to support Bloodstockauction's partnership with Ronald McDonald House, Westmead by donating to the cause nominations to each of the Euroa farm's well credentialled stallions.

Wolf CryBreeders can send a mare to exciting newcomers Wolf Cry, Honorius and Cluster or the proven stallions Ilovethiscity and O'Lonhro and at the same time get involved with a wonderful cause.

Money raised by the stallion nominations sold will be donated to Ronald McDonald House who are seeking to build a new establishment in order to increase the current 18 rooms for families to sixty. $40 million is required for the project with a couple of million still to be raised.

Bloodstockauction.com will host an online charity auction for service fees from July 27 with final bids taken on August 1. The internet company is covering the costs of promotions and no commissions or listing fees are being charged.

Whilst Bloodstockauction.com's platform is to donate 50% of each donated service fee to the charity with the other half going to the stud, Murdoch prefers to see 100% go to Ronald McDonald House.

"Neville was the very first person to list his stallions with us," Bloodstockauction.com's Anthony Gafa said.

"And when we told him about the 50% deal he was offended, very quick to tell us that he wanted everything raised to go in support of the charity. He has been absolutely fantastic and we are very grateful of his support."

"Ronald McDonald House do an amazing job," Murdoch said, "and Larneuk Stud is proud to be involved. We urge breeders to support this wonderful cause and we look forward to welcoming their mares to the stud."
