Now with Gwenda Markwell after starting his career in Victoria with Ciaron Maher and David Esuatce, pure white four year-old stallion Grand Bernini broke the ice for his new trainers with a stylish half length win over 1200 metres.
A three time winner previously in country Victorian races, Grand Bernini looks well capable of adding to his record now that he’s found some form.

Interestingly, the three winners she has had – Grand Bernini (Shamexpress), Casta Diva (High Chaparral) and Utzon (Charm Spirit) are all her white foals, with her solid coloured foals yet to make an impression on the track.
The Opera House has no yearling for the sales of 2020.
