Scoring her first win at Vaal in South Africa on Tuesday was three year-old Snitzel filly Masaaqaat, a $1million Inglis Easter purchase from the Willow Park draft for Shadwell.
Trained by Mike de Kock, Masaaqaat broke through after a string of placings to win by a length over 1200m as favourite.
Masaaqaat is the first winner for Reply Churlish (NZ), a half-sister by O’Reilly to Group III winner Darci Be Good.
Reply Churlish has a yearling filly by Exceed and Excel, a filly foal by Pierro and is back in foal to Snitzel.
