Both were suspended for incidents in the second race, the Ovens Ford Maiden Plate over 1590m won by Into Rio defeating Kitsune.

Stockdale pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding aboard Don't Dismiss after shifting in near the 1000m when insufficiently clear of Clear Boy which was checked and lost its position.

Stockdale was suspended for 10 meetings, to commence at midnight on August 30 and expire at midnight on September 9.

Meech was charged with careless riding for causing interference aboard Kitsune passing the 350m. In shifting out, Kitsune made contact with Haunted Stream which was tightened for room and severely hampered after bumping Into Rio.

Meech was suspended for nine meetings, to commence at midnight on August 30 and expire at midnight on September 8.
