Australian Hall of Fame trainer Lee Freedman will leave for Singapore to begin training from the beginning of next month.
The Singapore Turf Club's Racing Committee confirmed on Friday Freedman had been allocated stables at Kranji from September 1.
Among Freedman's achievements are five Melbourne Cups, including two of Makybe Diva's three wins and four Golden Slippers.
He has 124 Group One wins on his record including the 2005 Singapore International Cup with Mummify.
Freedman retired in 2011 but made a comeback in 2014 to train in partnership with his brother Anthony who will take over the Victorian stable.
Another brother Michael was a successful trainer in Singapore for many years and will be based in Hong Kong from the start of the new season next month while Richard Freedman is a trainer at Rosehill in Sydney.
