Everest Field and Barrier Draw

The all-important barrier draw for the $14million The Everest was announced at 8pm on Tuesday with the barriers and racing colours of each of the runners revealed on the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Pierata drew barrier oneThe third running of Australia’s richest horserace highlights the card in Sydney on Saturday and will be held at 4.15pm.

Golden Slipper winning sire Pierro has two of the leading fancies in Pierata nd Arcadia Queen, who both drew ideally in gate one and three.

Two-time winner of The Everest, Redzel drew gate seven will wear saddlecloth number three, the same number he carried to victory in the inaugural running of the race in 2017.
