Newgate young guns Deep Field and Dissident both posted smart maiden winners at Newcastle on Tuesday and also featured at the Magic Millions 2YO's in Training Sale at the Gold Coast with some outstanding results highlighted by Dissident producing the second highest priced offering of the sale when his colt from Demanding Queen sold for $320,000.

"He looks a very exciting prospect," Moore said. "He breezed very well and very fast.
