Media Release - Wednesday August 28
One of the very best colts competing in the Sydney spring of 2017 when winning the Group II ATC Run to the Rose and finishing third in the Group I ATC Golden Rose, brilliant Snitzel son Menari has his first foals arriving this spring for Newgate Farm.

Menari colt from Iron MizzTwo of the first foals by Menari born at Newgate have pleased Stud Manager Jim Carey.

"We couldn't be more thrilled with the first two Menari foals on the farm," Carey said.

"Both foals are out of two young very fast stakes-winning mares and they are exactly what you would have hoped to get breeding to such an unbelievably fast horse in Menari. Both have great quality with lovely markings and have good balance and presence . Both look very strong with a great hind quarter. They look all speed."

A juvenile stakes-winner at Saratoga, Mizzen Mast mare Iron Mizz (USA) is the dam of this cracking Menari colt, who is her first foal. He was bred by SF Bloodstock and Blake Sandblom Pty Ltd .

A big powerful horse that showed exceptional speed in his brief career of just eight starts, Menari stands at a fee of $16,500.
