Race 1 summary - GREATER GOOD struggled in stronger races on wet tracks last preparation. Worked home solidly when runner-up at Scone resuming and right in the mix fitter second-up. ITASCA runner-up two from five in his first preparation both on home track at Hawkesbury. Just over a length from the winner at Scone resuming and right in this fitter second-up back to favourite track. SUGARLAND EXPRESS runner-up at Gosford only run last preparation and a similar result at Wyong resuming this time in. Gets the chance to go one better with the run under his belt. CHEKKAPEN has been slow away both starts to date including a Hawkesbury second on debut. Just needs an even getaway to be competitive.
Race 1 tips - 1st: GREATER GOOD (5), 2nd: ITASCA (2), 3rd: SUGARLAND EXPRESS (3), 4th: CHEKKAPEN (1).

Race 2 summary - CATESBY placed last two at Canterbury and Kembla in solid form races. Still on the improve and gets his chance here. THE AVENGER no luck and did a few things wrong when runner-up to a promising galloper on debut at Newcastle. Likely to derive plenty of benefit from the experience and the one to beat. ZAFINA 15-start maiden but placed on seven occasions including a close third at Newcastle resuming when she had no luck. Expected to be right in the finish again launching from the inside gate fitter second-up. CEDARWOOD won his latest trial at Warwick Farm. Must be respected on debut with the Waller polish.
Race 2 tips - 1st: CATESBY (5), 2nd: THE AVENGER (1), 3rd: ZAFINA (3), 4th: CEDARWOOD (6).

Race 3 summary - POSTMASTER GENERAL runner-up both runs this time in at Wyong and Goulburn. Gets his chance to go one better back to right grade. COSMIC POWERS maiden winner this track and distance only run in her first preparation and runner-up at Gosford resuming. Beaten odds-on favourite at Kembla last start and should be given another chance. FLORID has won two from six including a Wyong victory this trip two runs back. Kept chasing when runner-up this track and distance last start and nothing to suggest he won't be in the finish again. LATIN BOY placed four from six before breaking his maiden status at Newcastle resuming last start. Looks the type that could go on with the job after a confidence boosting win.
Race 3 tips - 1st: POSTMASTER GENERAL (1), 2nd: COSMIC POWERS (4), 3rd: FLORID (2), 4th: LATIN BOY (3).

Race 4 summary - SPANISH STEPS less than a length from the winner resuming this track and distance last start. Still scope for improvement and just needs even luck in running to be right in the finish. MISTY LAD led all the way to win his latest trial at Randwick. Well beaten in the Breeders' Plate only run in his first preparation but looks well placed in a provincial maiden resuming. RAPID FEET and MR KYLIN the other main hopes.
Race 4 tips - 1st: SPANISH STEPS (12), 2nd: MISTY LAD (4), 3rd: RAPID FEET (9), 4th: MR KYLIN (7).

Race 5 summary - PREFERITO Resumes on the back of successive trial wins at Randwick. Canterbury runner-up in three runs last preparation and looks ready to go fresh here. TEODOSIO placed at Wyong and Kembla both runs to date after being slow away on both occasions. Just needs an even getaway to be right in the finish. KEY TO GLORY well backed and wasn't far from the winner at Warwick Farm on debut after racing on the speed. Gets his chance in a provincial maiden with the benefit of race experience. BYZANTIUM hasn't been far from the winner both runs to date at Gosford and Canterbury. Still scope for improvement and rates as one of the chances.
Race 5 tips - 1st: PREFERITO (3), 2nd: TEODOSIO (11), 3rd: KEY TO GLORY (9), 4th: BYZANTIUM (7).

Race 6 summary - COULTHARD Newcastle winner this trip in three runs in his first preparation and worked home nicely finishing on the placegetters heels at Kembla resuming. Fitter second-up and right in the mix stepping up in distance. SASSABY run down late when runner-up at Newcastle resuming. Generally holds his form second-up and gets the chance to go one better from a good gate. CHARMING LAD hasn't been far from the winner both runs this preparation. Ready to do something peaking third-up with a soft run from the inside gate. CRAFTY TYCOON has won two of last three and chasing back to back wins after a Wyong victory last start. The 59.5kg a leveller.
Race 6 tips - 1st: COULTHARD (6), 2nd: SASSABY (1), 3rd: CHARMING LAD (3), 4th: CRAFTY TYCOON (5).

Race 7 summary - ARBEITSAM has won three of last four highballing out in front. Won by close to five-lengths at Rosehill last start and only has to be in the same form to win again. PELETHRONIUS won four on the trot before finding 61.5kg too much in the Coffs Harbour Cup last start. Right in this back on the limit. KINGSGUARD ridden quietly to make it two wins from last three at Rosehill last start. Still down in the weights and a winning chance again. DARCI'S AFFAIR raced on the speed and held on to win the Coffs Harbour Cup last time out. Drawn to advantage and a winning chance again down in the weights.
Race 7 tips - 1st: ARBEITSAM (4), 2nd: PELETHRONIUS (6), 3rd: KINGSGUARD (5), 4th: DARCI'S AFFAIR (7).

Race 8 summary - ZEDGE has finished out of the placings all three runs to date but no luck last start. No surprise to see an improved run. MOZART'S WORK hasn't finished worse than fourth in eight runs this preparation including a Goulburn maiden win two runs back. Goes in all the exotics. SUGAR DANCE Bathurst winner resuming three runs back and placed in two subsequent runs at Hawkesbury and Scone. Has place prospects again. BISCUIT one win from 25 a red flag but hasn't been far from the winner in recent starts and can sneak into the placings.
Race 8 tips - 1st: ZEDGE (9), 2nd: MOZART'S WORK (6), 3rd: SUGAR DANCE (5), 4th: BISCUIT (11).
