2017 Sun Stud Annual Brochure Online

Media Release - Wednesday August 23

The 2017 Sun Stud brochure - featuring seven stallions in Victoria and five at its Queensland property - is now available online.

PalentinoHeadlining the Victorian roster is first season sire, Palentino, whose dual Group One victories over the 1600m at Flemington (Australian Guineas and Maykbe Diva Stakes) mirrors the legendary Zabeel. Palentino made it three victories over the mile at headquarters when capturing the 2017 Blamey Stakes in March and will open his account at Sun Stud at a fee of $17,600 inc. GST.

Palentino joins leading sire, Magnus, unbeaten 2YO Fighting Sun, the 'fast stayer' Fiorente (whose first crop sold up to $200,000), Black Caviar's brother, Moshe, Victoria's Champion Second Season Sire by winners, Squamosa, Champion Victorian First Season Sire, and completing the seven stallion roster in Victoria is stakes winning 2YO, Ready For Victory. The strength and versatility of the roster gives breeders throughout Australia a real opportunity to breed for success.

In Queensland, speed source Statue of Liberty has re-located from Victoria for 2017 and shares the breeding barn with perennial champ, Bel Esprit, Queensland's Champion Second Season Sire, Love Conquers All, Instinction, whose first crop included 7-time winner, Paradis Imperial, and Group Two Queensland Guineas winner, Jabali.

Designed by Penny Abrehart, the interactive brochure can be viewed by clicking here or or click here to download the PDF.
