Second Season Sires - Game On!

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday August 23
The second season sires division is off and running with Your Song and All Too Hard trading blows at the top of the list.

Your SongWidden Stud's Your Song was the leading sire by winners last season and is setting the pace again since August 1 with five winners from 14 runners.

Vinery Stud's All Too Hard is hot on his heels with four winners from 25 runners, with both sires represented at the races on Wednesday.

Frost Giant (USA), Delago Deluxe, Ocean Park and Americain (USA) are all on the board with winners, while Pierro had a new stakes performer last Saturday with Poseidon's Pool third in the Group III MRC Vain Stakes.

This is shaping as a competitive division and for breeders sending mares to any of these stallions this spring, their progress will be of keen interest.

Follow all the action here at Breednet as we track the success of these sires as the season unfolds.
