US G3 Winner for So You Think

Tara Madgwick - Monday June 3
Stakes-placed four times previously talented five year-old mare mare Coachwhip broke the ice at stakes level when scoring a commanding win in the $100,000 Grade III Matron Stakes at Arlington on Saturday.

So You ThinkA homebred for Calumet Farm trained by Jack Sisterson, Coachwhip raced on the pace and charged clear to win the 1 and 1/8th mile contest by more than three lengths.

"I had all the confidence in the world in Tyler Baze with her," Jack Sisterson said.

"He got to know her in the Bewitch last time out, and came to work her out at Keenland where he was able to get her to relax in her works. I didn't have to say a word to him, he knows her so well."

With four wins and seven placings from 15 starts, Coachwhip was well deserving of her first stakes win and is the 19th stakes-winner for champion racehorse So You Think. She is a half-sister to stakes-winner Redemptor and is one of seven winners from good producer Restless Rixa.

So You Think stands at Coolmore Australia this spring at a fee of $38,500 and is coming off a great season that has given him a new Group I winner in Nakeeta Jane and an undefeated exciting three year-old stakes-winner in Fasika .
