A
half-sister to Group I winners Maid of Heaven and Castelvecchio, Group III
winning Redoute's Choice mare Mirrasalo produced her second winner this week
when Maningi Indaba scored at Durbanville on Wednesday in South Africa.
A four year-old daughter of So You Think, the Brett Crawford trained Maningi
Indaba won by a length and a half over 2000 metres.
Earlier this week, Mirrasalo's three year old Lonhro filly Mirra Vision made it
two wins from two starts when scoring at Randwick, so the mare has now had four
foals to race and all are winners.
Maningi Indaba was a $300,000 Inglis Easter purchase for Brett Crawford/ Craig
Roscoe from the Vinery Stud draft and was bred by Bennelong Bloodstock, who
retained Mirra Vision to race.
Mirrasalo has a yearling filly by More Than Ready (USA) and was covered last
season by Lonhro after first missing to Pierro.
