South African G2 Winner for All Too Hard

Talented All Too Hard colt Frosted Gold claimed his second Black Type victory in South Africa on Saturday when winning the Group II SA Nursery Stakes at Turffontein.

All Too HardTrained by Mike d e Kock, Frosted Gold powered clear to win the 1160 metre sprint by a length and a half taking his overall record to three wins and a second from just four starts.

Frosted Gold was a $180,000 Inglis Premier purchase from the Blandford Lodge draft for Form Bloodstock and is a half-brother to Macau stakes-winner Sunshine Mighty and stakes-placed Maryore from good producer Mary D'Or(Fr), a sibling to French Group I winners Silverware and Stormy River.

Blandford Lodge sold a colt by Tavistock from Mary D'Or for $50,000 at Karaka Book One this year.

Frosted Gold is one of seven stakes-winners for Vinery Stud's All Too Hard, who stands this spring at $27,500.
