South African Stakes-Winner for All Too Hard

A dead heat victory at Turffontein in South Africa on Saturday for two year-old colt Frosted Gold delivered a seventh stakes-winner for his Vinery Stud based sire All Too Hard.

All Too Hard is the sire of Frosted GoldA winner on debut at Vaal, the Mike de Kock trained Frosted Gold made it two wins in as many starts when dead heating in the Listed Storm Bird Stakes over 1000 metres.

A $180,000 Inglis Premier purchase for Form Bloodstock from the Blandford Lodge draft, Frosted Gold is a half-brother to stakes-winner Sunshine Mighty and stakes-placed Maryore being the fourth winner from stakes-placed Verglas mare Mary D'Or (Fr), a sibling to Group I winners Silverwave and Stormy River.

Blandford Lodge sold a half-brother by Tavistock to Frosted Gold at Karaka Book One this year for $50,000.
