Group One Vendors Return Home to Adelaide

Tara Madgwick - Thursday March 7
A busy yearling sale season for leading South Australian vendors Mill Park Stud continues in Adelaide next week at the Magic Millions with recent racetrack results for Mill Park graduates buoyed by the Group I success of Booker in the Group I MRC Oakleigh Plate.

G1 Oakleigh Plate winner Booker is a Mill Park graduateA top class sprinting mare by Written Tycoon, Booker confirmed her status as an elite speedster when overcoming a wide draw to score powerful three-quarter length win in the prestigious 1100 metre sprint.

A $230,000 Inglis Premier purchase from the Mil Park draft at Inglis Premier in 2016, Booker has returned over $800,000 in prizemoney and will be worth even more than that as a broodmare prospect when her racing days are done.

Booker is the latest in a long line of Group I winners raised by Mill Park that includes MM Adelaide graduate Divine Madonna as well as Fawkner, Southern Speed, Rebel Raider, Serious Speed, Captain Sonador, Go Indy Go and the mighty Happy Trails, who was also purchased from the Adelaide Magic Millions Mill Park draft for just $11,000.

Triple Group I winner Happy Trails won over $3million for his trainer Paul Beshara and highlights the amazing value to be found in Adelaide.
