Five state Quaddie attack for Saturday

Breednet - Saturday August 19

There is nothing better than cheering home the final leg to land a fat quaddie and Racenet's analysts have put their heads together to give you a chance at a big dividend on Saturday.

Here are our suggested quadrella strategies.

Randwick

1st leg

7

2nd leg

2, 3, 9

3rd leg

4, 5, 6, 7, 8

4th leg

1, 3, 6, 10, 11

75 Combinations

Analysis: The champion mare Winx almost makes this quaddie into a treble. We have to stand her out in the first leg. Dixie Blossoms has been trialling well and should take out the second leg but we will take some insurance with Euro Angel and Shazee Lee. Omei Sword is talented and has been fancied in early betting but there has to be some query of her coming back from a bleeding attack. The final leg is open and may add value.

$20 investment = 26.67%

Caulfield

1st leg

2, 4, 5, 7

2nd leg

2, 3

3rd leg

1, 5, 7, 10, 11, 13

4th leg

6, 14, 15, 18, 19, 20

288 Combinations

Analysis: A high quality card with many horses kicking off their spring campaigns. We have the second leg down to the two top picks in the market, Hartnell and Black Heart Bart. Both ooze class and it would be a surprise to see the winner come outside them. Jukebox looks a good chance in the first leg but meets a few which have the ability, if things go their way, to knock him off. Taking some insurance there. Last two legs are wide open contests.

$20 investment = 6.94%

Doomben

1st leg

1, 3, 4, 6, 10

2nd leg

6, 7, 8, 13

3rd leg

6, 10, 12, 13, 16

4th leg

4, 5, 6, 14

400 Combinations

Analysis: Looks a tough quaddie at Doomben on Saturday with competitive racing across all legs. Spreading the net evenly trying to snare some value. Happy to take a smaller percentage as we're confident it will pay well.

$20 investment = 5%

Morphettville

1st leg

4, 5, 6

2nd leg

3, 6, 12, 13

3rd leg

1

4th leg

2, 4, 5, 6, 12, 15

72 combinations

Analysis: Lankan Rupee comes to Adelaide after an excellent resuming run behind the in form Ability. He has a fantastic second-up record and he should simply be too classy for these. Standing him out in the third leg. Game Of War should be hard to beat in the opening event while we have gone a little wider in legs two and four.

$20 investment = 27.78%

Belmont

1st leg

1, 2, 3, 6

2nd leg

4, 7

3rd leg

2, 3, 4

4th leg

3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9

144 Combinations

Analysis: Grant And Alana Williams seem to have a good hold on the second leg with Cash On Call and Young Gina. We will stand them out in leg two. Both look to be above average. The opening leg and final leg appear difficult and could add some value into the quaddie.

$20 investment = 13.89%
