Following the victory Tiley revealed his impressive 2YO has two upcoming Gr.1 targets - the Gr.1 Sistema Stakes at Ellerslie in March and the Gr.1 Manawatu Sires Produce Stakes in April.

A few races later ShamExpress' talented daughter Bothered provided her sire with another new winner in the 3YO event over 1200m. Bothered is also held in high regard by her trainer Keith Opie who commented that he will target some of the better fillies' races with her this Autumn.
