Scoring an impressive debut win at Scottsville in South Africa on Wednesday was two year-old colt Share Holder, a modest $24,000 Magic Millions National Yearling Sale purchase for his trainer Paul Lafferty.

Share Holder as a yearlingShare Holder won the 1000 metre juvenile plate by nearly four lengths in a dominant display.

Consigned by Guntawang Stud, Share Holder is by former Coolmore shuttler Zoffany (IRE)from Ashanti Queen, a winning half-sister to Group II winner De Lighting Ridge from prolific stakes-winner Nanny Maroon.
