Southern Cross Breeders (Byerley Stud) are expecting a busy week of inspections at Riverside Stables in the lead up to the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale with a terrific draft of 13 youngsters – 12 of them colts - by a range of popular young sires as well as proven Group I sire Star Witness.

Group II winning 3YO colt Sesar was sold by Southern Cross'Sold by Southern Cross' is a proven recipe for success with classy three year-old Sesar a glowing example. A $160,000 Inglis Easter purchase for Proven Thoroughbreds and Steve O'Dea Racing, Sebring colt Sesar has already won over $300,000 in prizemoney and scored a resounding win in the Group II ATC Roman Consul Stakes last spring.

Last year at Classic, Southern Cross (Byerley Stud) presented a lovely Rubick filly that caught the eye of renowned bloodstock agent James Harron. He secured her for $42,000 on behalf of his JHB Syndications and Biscara vindicated his judgement by finishing second at her first two starts in the Listed MRC Inglis Debutants Stakes and $500,000 Inglis Banner.
