Another Sizzling 2YO Winner

Fresh from siring brilliant two year-old debut winner Sizzlefly last weekend at Morphettville, Newgate Farm's Sizzling has added another impressive juvenile winner to the tally on Wednesday in Sizzling Babe.

SizzlingEighth on debut to high class two year-old Dubious last month at Doomben, the Neville Saunders trained Sizzling Babe showed the benefit of recent race experience rto charge home from back in the field to win the 1200 metre maiden by nearly two lengths in a dominant display.

A modest $15,000 Magic Millions Gold Coast March Yearling Sale purchase for owner Diane Leggatt, Sizzling Babe is the first winner for Dareel, a half-sister by Charge Forward to stakes-placed Very Cherry.

Dareel died last year and her last foal is a colt by another young Newgate sire in Super One.

Sizzling Babe is the 17th winner this season for Sizzling, whose progeny have won over $1million since August 1.
