Tommy Berry and Adam Hyeronimus have both been suspended following incidents that took place in the final event at Canterbury on Wednesday.
Berry was suspended for a total of seven meetings for careless riding aboard Quick Defence in the TAB Rewards Handicap (1900m).
However, Berry heads to Hong Kong to take up a riding opportunity with trainer John Moore on Sunday, the day the suspension begins, and is free to return riding on September 3, the first race meeting of the new Hong Kong season.
Adam Hyeronimus was also suspended out of the race for three meetings after pleading guilty to shifting out on the winner Street Pursuit. Hyeronimus will begin his suspension on Sunday August 20 and be free to return to riding on Sunday August 27.
