A freakish performance by the defending champion and Hong Kong Horse Of The Year, Beauty Generation (NZ) in Sunday's Group 1 Hong Kong Mile kept the ball rolling for the locals on Longines International race day at Sha Tin.
After being caught three wide early, Zac Purton elected to go to the front on Beauty Generation and from there it was a procession.
When the reins were let out an inch, the 6yo son of Road To Rock put the race to bed in a matter of strides.

With his fifth consecutive win, the John Moore-trained gelding advances his record to 13 wins, 3 seconds and 4 thirds from 26 starts.
"He's a beast, he's shown that this season, Purton said.
"I'm just happy for the horse. There are obvious expectations for him but I knew he would do that today. I rode him yesterday and I knew they wouldn't beat him."
Bred by Nearco Stud, Beauty Generation was a $60,000 purchase by Hermes Syndications from the Highden Park draft at the 2014 NZB Select Yearling Sale.
The 5yo gelding commenced his career with Anthony Cummings in Australia under the name Montaigne where he had seven starts that produced two wins and was runner-up in the 2016 Group 1 Rosehill Guineas behind Tarzino (Tavistock) before finishing fourth to Preferment (Zabeel) in the Group 1 The BMW.
Bred by Nearco Stud, Beauty Generation was offered by Highden Park at the 2014 NZB Select Sale, where he was knocked down to Hermes Syndications for $60,000.
He is the third foal of the unraced Bel Esprit mare Stylish Bell who is a half-sister to stakes winners Victory Trump (Euclase) and Savage Attack (Made Of Gold).
Stylish Bel has a yearling colt by Tavistock and a colt foal by Tarzino.
The Tavistock colt will be consigned by Carlaw Park to the NZB Premier Yearling Sale in January.
Beauty Generation is the lone Group 1 winner for the Group 1 AJC Queen Elizabeth Stakes and Group 1 AJC George Main Stakes winner Road To Rock (Encosta de Lago) who stands at Wellfield Stud where his 2018 Service Fee has been set at $4,500 + GST (Free Return).
